uni-tea asked: I truly hope you never feel alone, unheard or invisible. You are none of these things. I've been following your blog since the beginning, and you are such an inspiration. Seeing your posts is always a reminder to stay strong, and you've been such a help in my own recovery... I wish you all the luck in the world and respect your decision to stop blogging to focus on your own. But you are...

leschatsaimenti-deactivated2010 asked: Thank you! :) And I do see something completely different when I look into my eyes. Sometimes I think I look completely different afterwards. It's crazy and I love it! :)
fightingthinspo asked: Mmm tricky question. My definition of beauty is,,, To me beauty is something that can just captivate you. It can be something so tiny like today my cat was sitting in the sun and i could see this stray cat hair standing upright balancing on the end of one of his whiskers. He wriggle and the hair took flight in the sun and danced around and then landed on the next whisker up it was so tiny but...
leschatsaimenti-deactivated2010 asked: I thought your reply was lovely, and I completely agree. Recently I've been trying to rediscover myself to see what I really am. I've always seen myself in a negative way, and I'm gradually beginning to change that. It's quite wonderful. I'm slowly beginning to see what everyone else see and loving it. It may sound a tad concieted but, I'm really happy about it and...
Anonymous asked: You are such an inspiration to me. I love you and I really want you to know that you deserve the best for your life because you are SUCH an amazing person and friend. I know things have been hard right now, but I'm positive that you will get back on your feet as long as you keep reaching out...you don't have to let your eating disorder to win!
leschatsaimenti-deactivated2010 asked: What is your definition of beauty?
- For me, beauty is something that captivates me. You may not know that's what it is at the moment, but hopefully one day you will. For example, you could be drawn to a painting. You go through the whole gallery but no matter what you find yourself at that same painting. It has beauty. Does that make sense?
What makes someone beautiful?...

Question of the Day:
What is your definition of beauty?
What makes someone beautiful?
I'm looking for honest answers--not what you think someone "wants to hear".
There is no right or wrong answer.
There is no judgement.
Just curiosity.

nunnit asked: I lost my best friend to an eating disorder over 5 years ago. She was like a sister, I miss her so greatly. I will never forget how tragic it is. I wish I could have done more.
I hope that no-one ever has to lose a friend, a sister or brother, a daughter or son, a parent or most importantly, themselves in such a heartbreaking way.
I support the internal acceptance...

Hi I'm gay and have this AWESOME boyfriend who I...
Ok. So let’s assume that people are staring and judging your public display of affection. What are you afraid that they are thinking of you? Or rather, what do you assume that they are thinking?
I don’t know how old you are, so is your goal to be able to display public affection to your boyfriend at school or anywhere in public. Because if you are in a public place full of stranger...

Here's the deal: i'm semi-recovered from EDs...
When you say 25 pounds overweight does that mean over the weight range you feel comfortable with or over the weight range that a height and weight chart/bmi calculator tells you or overweight according to a dietician/doctor?—and yes there is a difference between the latter two.
Even if you are semi-recovered, you cannot trust your own opinion or the online bmi/height and weight charts....

what advice do you have for a big girl who is...
Well, first of all, when you say “big” I don’t even know what that means. Half of the time I look in the mirror and see a “big girl” because I have such poor body image, when in reality I am of perfectly normal weight for my height and body frame. So maybe this is the same for you. But of course, this doesn’t mean it is any easier to accept your body. Even when...
